location_ South Point Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba program_ Designed for the local Anishinaabe, Cree, Ojibwe and Metis communities, the project consists of an outdoor art exhibition space, a ceremonial gathering circle and a pavilion. The pavilion functions both as a workshop and ceremonial space, which includes a kitchen and fire pit for potlucks. Local members of the indigenous community, such as Elder Norman Meade and artist, Leah Fontaine were consulted throughout the design.
